tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-62571525087553687762011-12-12T17:21:44.585-08:00Kin Lanenoreply@blogger.comBlogger21100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6257152508755368776.post-31556116985607906982008-01-12T00:51:00.000-08:002008-01-12T01:07:33.066-08:00I started the Original Web Solutions Base Architecture or OWS Network Architecture back in 2000. <br /><br />The original design was meant to allow <a href="http://www.nonprofitwebsolution.com/">non profit organizations to manage their web site content using a Content Management System or CMS</a>.<br /><br />Then we got a couple of e-commerce web sites, and we started branching out. <br /><br />All of our sites start with our core architecture which is made up of the following systems and components:<br /><br />Site Manager - Gives you a CMS to manage all the standard content on your web site.<br /><ul><li>Page Manager</li><li>File Manager</li><li>Image Manager</li><li>Site Map</li><li>Graphical Look</li></ul>Marketing Manager - Gives you a basic set of marketing tools to ensure your site is found.<br /><ul><li>Link Manager</li><li>Keyword Manager</li><li>Glossary Manager</li></ul>Traffic Manager - Shows you some analytics on who is visiting your site and when.<br /><ul><li>Browser Report</li><li>Keyword Report</li><li>Operating System Report</li><li>Page Views Report</li><li>Referrer Report</li><li>Search Engine / BOT Report</li><li>Site Traffic Report</li><li>Unique Visit Report</li></ul>Account Manager - Allows you to manager your account with Original Web Solutions<br /><ul><li>Admin User Manager</li><li>Viewer User Manager</li><li>Ticket Manager</li></ul>That is the core of the OWS Network architecture. We take this base architecture and "wrap a graphical look around it". It gives you the ability to manage the core of your web site, market it, and evaluate visitors to your web site.<br /><br />Once you have the core architecture setup, a graphical look and you point a domain name towards it, you have a web site.<br /><br />That is enough for 60% of our customers to have a quality web presence. The OWS Network is the platform we have built our business on starting in 1999. <br /><br />We are just completing the rollout of Version 4.0 of the OWS Network.
